The upgraded U/V rim profile combines the aerodynamic stability of a U-shape with the wind-cutting efficiency of a V-shape, delivering reduced drag and better performance in crosswinds. The AERO 40 II now features the upgraded ICAN D91 hub, replacing the previous D01 model. It adopts the popular 45T star ratchet system for faster engagement and is equipped with premium S&S steel bearings for improved durability and smoothness. The freehub body has been cleverly optimized, removing excess material without affecting cassette compatibility, reducing the total hub weight to just 280g. This smart redesign contributes to the overall lighter and more efficient wheelset performance.
