1, Optimized Rim Profile for Tire Security
Upgraded from hookless to hooked design with 25mm internal width, enhancing tubeless tire retention and pressure stability. The recommended tire size is 700 x 35-50mm, and tire widths between 29mm and 60mm can also be safely used.

Proprietary lightweight layup process reduces rim mass by≈7% while maintaining impact resistance standards–the weight of the whole pair of wheels is only 1,296 g (vs. 1,396 g original).

The advanced D91 hubs feature a 45T star ratchet system that replaces the 6-pawl design of the D21 hubs, and the Shimano freehub body features a unique design that reduces weight while maintaining structural rigidity, making it approximately 90G lighter than the D21 hubs.
