TUBELESS COMPATIBLE
ICAN realizes that more and more racers are using tubeless tires, but there are still many people using clincher tires. In order to be compatible with both market demands, the Alpha rim wheelsets developed by ICAN supports both TUBELESS COMPATIBLE and clincher tire.

Our Alpha 50 is leading the way for those of us that want a huge aero advantage but don’t want to pay a huge amount for that advantage.
Our Aero 50 is a modern blunt profiled carbon fiber rim. A rim shape that is designed to keep the air around it as stable as possible and stop it becoming too turbulent. We have built the rim out of a mix of Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber cloth.
We have found by mixing these two types of carbon fiber we can build you a light rim that is also strong and one of the stiffest wheels available. While we were designing the rim, we also made sure that our wide shape was also able to be run tubeless, to help you take advantage of the inner width of our rim.
We didn’t stop there and have also added our new brake track to these wheels. Our previous brake tracks were tolerant of temperatures up to 240°, and now they can cope with temperatures of up to 300°.
We have laced this rim using Pillar spokes. We have found Pillar to be a name that many may not have heard of but are super stiff and great value for their price — helping us to keep our Alpha range as affordable as possible.
To get you rolling, we have used Novatec hubs. These hubs are highly reliable, spin smoothly on sealed bearings, and have proven longevity.
